I want my first true love at sixteen
To break my heart the next year
I want to squabble endlessly with friends
while everyone 'doesn't care'

I want to have My second love,
my yearning hearts reprieve
till she explains
In a very tactful way
that 'she's not the one for me'

at twenty one I have hit the town
drank my fill and restless sleep
one night stands with overly permissive
traquilised barbies.

At twenty three I'll sit and listen
to the nouvelle  wise
with some temporary wisdom
and an all-to-placid guise

At twenty five I'll settle down, I view my love
with jaded eyes

till twenty eight, when I'm overly permissive
layed back
Pally
"Hey, how you doing ?"
kind of guy.

But that was someone else life.  Not mine.

Where did I put that?

Obviously this applies to everyone but me...because i have no heart so i couldn't find my "True love"....besides I do prefer to just stay single...^^

Awesome poem though!

Man why can't life always be this easy
She in the mirror dancin' so sleazy
I get a call, like "where are you deezy?"

Now you may say that. Wait a while, till someone catches your attention. Someone will come into your world and make you feel like you're missing everything.

The peom is ful of bitterness. What is 'true love' but a remedy for an overused 'love'? What is 'love' except a remedy for an under valued 'like'?

I never thought I could really love anyone that I could feel good, but I did.

It's still no guarantee.

And always there will be the dream of travelling,
of boarding the boats sailing from trivia,
And always there will be the regret,
the sense of carnivals finished.

I highly doubt that , besides i already found my love...THE OCEAN!

You tell me! , i avoid anything that has to do with "Love" ...its not that hard you just need to know how to do it ^^

Okayyy

You revealed the attitude towards love at each age and the fact that the human being ca not be alone.frankly i was expecting a longer text. You could have written some more(even about being old and loving). I like the ending and how u change the point of view.nicely done

It was personally written, so I didn't feel comfortable writing about any age I hadn't reached.

I could only imagine. We look at what we have now, and imagine what it will grow into, but things happen quickly and change can be sudden and unnoticed.

Thanks for the interest Crazy girl ^.^
