Cats don't understand

Canaries may be noisy
Yellow flapping feathered
things, who do little more
than irritate and preen
their bloody wings
  Their single saving grace may be
when they choose to sing
and reward the entire world
with their aggravating din.

But Cats don't understand.

Canines may be steadfast
They may be mans most faithful friend
but only seem to be happy
when they're humping at your leg
And when you send them for your slippers
you know you can expect
An accompaniment of luke warm drool
and whatever food you've left.

But Cats don't understand
  They're too busy making plans.

Far more deadly than a
tyranno-veloci-raptor-godzilla-rex
They've wiped out all the Dinosaurs
and now the Human sores are next
They've taken all those balls of wool
and turned them into nets.
They've drunken all your milk you fool!
