If it's my thoughts that will not let me be
The shore taunts me from the sea

Will I leave this place and I will leave it whole
If it's self pity that distracts me
And it's jealousy that rubs me raw
Or will I leave it gaping, grasping out
for what I've never found before
Will I die not knowing more
